I have decided to show you my foundation routine today as I was a little bored and had all of my foundation-ey stuff around me. Enjoy :)
..............................................................................................................
STEP ONE- MOISTURISER
My skin is super dry and gross feeling most of the time so I've turned to E45 cream recently. It's not the usual moisturiser you'd choose to wear under makeup but it is really moisturising. It's mainly used to treat eczema and dry skin conditions so it is amazing at sorting out my skin. I wouldn't recommend it for those of you with oily skin as it can take a while to sink in and leaves the skin feeling a little oily until it does sink in. You can see by the bottom picture it's a pretty thick consistency, saying that it is pretty good even under foundation. Once it has sunk in, it makes your skin feel really smooth.

STEP TWO- PRIMER
I recently picked up the pore fessional in my Boots store as a tester size, along with two other skin care things for around £9. I LOVE this primer. I shall be doing a full review on it soon but so far it seems amazing. I like the fact that the colour is pinky instead of the usual white. It gives a smooth base to apply my foundation. I only really apply this to my T-zone and the apples of my cheeks where my make up usually disappears from.
..............................................................................................................
STEP THREE- FOUNDATION
The foundation which I picked up was 'Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow' by Benefit in the colour 'Believe in me ivory'. It's a lovely colour with pink undertones which suits my skin perfectly. I put one pump onto my hand, then buff it into my skin using a real techniques buffing brush. It has a lovely finish which is quite dewy. I'll be a doing a full review on all of the benefit products I bought recently so keep a look out.
..............................................................................................................
STEP FOUR- CONCEALER
This is another thing I picked up from the benefit counter, their 'erase paste' concealer in 'fair'. This is a really thick consistency and you literally need to dab your finger into it once and it's enough for under both of my eyes and any blemishes I have. It's peachy coloured in tone so is great for covering under eye circles which is what I mainly use it for.
Thank you for reading, Hope you had a good week :)
Lots of love, Lucy xx

I'd also love one too! I've heard that it can oxidise and turn orange? Have you found this to be true?
DeleteI shall do one asap :) Oooh really? well not as of yet, but I only use it as a light coverage
