Song Of The Week!

Hello there.

I was just listening to a load of songs I have been loving recently and thought, how can I incorporate this into my blog?...A song of the week would be good! I think I'm going to make this a bit of a regular Sunday thing, telling you guy what my favourite (or favourites if I can't pick) song has been the past week :)



This week I have been OBSESSED with 'walks like Rihanna' by The Wanted. I don't typically like songs like this (super pop-ish and about random crap) but this is so damn catchy and happy, plus it often plays at work and makes me cope with the shift a little better.

So I did this last month and really enjoyed it and so i'm going to do it again in the hope that you liked it too.

5. Good Time, Owl City and Carly Rae Jepson - I love this sooong. I first heard it through watching YouTube beauty gurus who had it playing in the background and then some of them did a cover of it. It is such a catchy song and really up beat, you can't help but to sing and dance along. It was accidently released like 2 weeks early (I think) in the UK so I managed to get it early yay! 4. I Cry, Flo Rida - I love the large majority of Flo Rida's songs, usually because they're always playing on nights out so they have happy memories for me and this is no exception. the video only came onto YouTube like 2 days ago and already has over 200,000 views. when I first heard it on the radio it was like love at first listen and I looked it up on YouTube then downloaded it and it's onto my faves playlist already! 3. Hall of Fame, The Script ft will.i.am - I'm a major fan of The Script, like MAJOR! I went to see them for my 18th and have never stopped loving them since. So I obviously loved this song straight away. The Script never really do colabs with anyone so this was really weird to hear, but it was totally amazing. It sounds pretty 'The Script-ish' if you know what I mean, and Danny O'Donoghue sounds as amazingly hot as ever. The video is so beautiful too, it like illustrates the song. 2. Love Sick, The Lovable Rogues - These are the guys who were on Britain's Got Talent. I wanted them to win and was a little sad when they didn't. This song is very British and their accents really add to that. They came to a night club in my town recently and I got to see them, and stand about 2 metres away from Sonny (the smaller one who plays the ukulele) I was being very fan girly as was everyone else there. If you haven't heard there song you sooooo have to listen to it (HERE).

1. Finally...Some Nights, Fun. - This song was my Monthly Music number one last month but I still love it tonnes. It's now my ringtone (resulting in me missing loads of calls because I want to listen to the song) and I still cannot stop listening to it. Every time it comes on I just have to sing along and it gives me goose-pimples. Considering I linked to the actual video the last time, this time I'll link you to a cover which is amazing. Hey guys :)

So I was flicking through my ipod, looking at my most listened to songs and realised there are quite a few i've been listening to this moth, and I thought i'd share my 5 most loved, with you (I know it isn't beauty related sorry, I just love music!)


5. I know Beliebers are sometimes looked down upon especially those who are older than Justin himself...but I can't help it this month! As long as you love me ft. Big Sean has taken pride of place in my 'faves' playlist. It's so catchy I cant help but sing along. Click HERE to see it :D

4. I've been listening to Conor Maynard - Vegas Girl a lot this month. I used to watch him when he was a mere YouTube artist, now he's made it big, go him! Click HERE to be magically teleported to the video.

3. Little Mix, last years X Factor winners have recently released their first single 'Wings' and I cannot stop listening. I listened to it on repeat for a whole day...A WHOLE DAY! Click HERE to check it out. I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

2. I LOOVE Landon Austin, he's not all that well known, but he's friends with YouTube's Tanya Burr, Jim Chapman, Luke Conard, Ingrid, Joey and all the rest (if you haven't heard of them, I recommend checking them out they're amazing). So anyway Landon has this amazing voice and does covers of songs but he also has a few of his own. I love his cover of Age of Worry it's so pretty. Click HERE and fall in love with him too. 1. Fianally! The song I don't think I will ever get tired of listening to, and my most loved this month is 'Some nights' by Fun. I didn't think it would live upto 'We are young', but to me it beats it hands down. It has like 22 million views on youTube so i'm sure you've seen it but click HERE to see it again :P
